- But AT announced at the outset that the initial batch of "new" Amigas was
- being produced to fill existing orders. They reasoned (quite correctly IMHO)
- that there was no point in throwing money into advertising a product that
- they would then be hard pressed to provide. The rights and wrongs of this
- strategy were discussed here at the time.

- I agree with you entirely on this point. The initial batches of Amigas must
- have been sold by now (by AT's own admission they were all pre-ordered) so
- where are the new adverts? The test will be how (or, indeed, *if*) AT
- promote the new Internet package. If they screw up then I think it's fair to
- say that the Amiga (in the UK at least) will wither and die.

- Sorry! But you gotta admit - using the dreaded MS backslash in an Amiga
- group is like showing a red rag to a bull!
